Owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Oregon, KWSO 91.9 FM is a non-profit, community radio station broadcasting from Eagle Butte, on the Warm Springs Reservation, with 4,300 watts of power.
Programming on KWSO is designed to offer the Warm Springs Reservation and surrounding areas: news, information, education, and an increased awareness of important issues that affect the community and individual lives. While communicating this information, we strive to keep you entertained with current popular music mixed with favorites from yesterday.
KWSO is a member of the National Federation of Community Broadcasters, and the Oregon Association of Broadcasters. We also are part of the Northwest News Network and both broadcast and contribute to National Native News. We are an affiliate of Native Voice One and Public Radio International and are fortunate to be able to broadcast the Oregon Public Broadcasting Program "Think Out Loud". KWSO participates in the Corporation for Public Broadcasting Community Service Grant Program (see more about the CPB CSG below).
